The European Business Summit is the key meeting place between high-level decision-makers and business people in Europe. In 2010 the 8th edition of the EBS will take place on 30 June 2010 and 1 July 2010 in Brussels.
Through various plenary sessions and workshops EBS wants to help create a dialogue and action plan to boost business in Europe.

The goals of the European Business Summit (EBS) are:
To set up a platform for dialogue between the business world and the European political scene;
To cover in-depth a 'hot topic', through an exchange of views between industry representatives and European decision-makers;
To enable SMEs to meet decision-makers face-to-face and to enhance the visibility of their business;
To improve companies' knowledge of European affairs;
To create a climate of dialogue and confidence between different actors, including NGOs and academics, in order to reinforce the European social and economic model.
