About

Now a prestigious 2-day event, attended by over 2,000 participants, the European Business Summit has moved from strength to strength since its creation 20 years ago.

WHO WE ARE

European Business Summit is a well-known organization which creates and supports networking and debating events in Brussels, including our biggest and most prestigious event - the annual European Business Summit. Our principal goal is to bring business and politics together and stimulate thinking on the most challenging European issues. Through its events and publications, EBS delivers an inspired and informed contribution to policy-making in Europe. EBS is supported by the FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium) and BUSINESSEUROPE. The EBS is also proud to acknowledge the high patronage of His Majesty the King of the Belgians.

    OUR MISSION

Our mission is twofold: we aim to bring politics and business together in order to provide them with an opportunity to debate and pursue their common goals, giving a voice to all sides of the debate. The other priority of EBS is to provide the European institutions with a platform where they can place their top priorities in the spotlight and advance the development of new pieces of legislation through discussion with a variety of actors and stakeholders.

    THE EBS ANNUAL EVENT

The annual European Business Summit is one of the most far-reaching and influential debating and networking platforms in Europe, held annually at the Egmont Palace, Brussels. It attracts over 2,000 participants and 250 high-level speakers. EBS gives business representatives the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with key EU decision-makers and demonstrate that business can play a key part in developing solutions to the most pressing issues in Europe.

    What's Special about 2020

With the simultaneous onset of the new EU Commission and the new members of European Parliament, EBS 2020 will offer the opportunity to meet new policymakers and to discuss the key issues facing Europe.

The overarching theme for EBS 2020 is sustainability. Through our sessions, EBS will highlight a new approach to business with a focus on sustainable transformation and the impact that companies have on both society and the environment.
