Jean-Philippe Courtois
Position: President, Microsoft International
Jean-Philippe Courtois is President of Microsoft International. He has the responsibility for all operations outside the U.S. and Canada. He places a high priority on spreading the benefits of technology for economic and social development like creating access to technology, helping ensure Internet safety, supporting education, and generating economic growth and opportunity. Before his 22 years with Microsoft, he was Product Manager for Memsoft. He is administrator for PlaNet Finance and the official representative of Microsoft at Institut Montaigne. He is a past member of CSR Europe and the Advisory Council of the European Policy Centre. Mr Courtois also served as Co-chairman of the World Economic Forum's Global Digital Divide Initiative Task Force.
