Richard Gnodde
Position: Co-Chief Executive Officer, Goldman Sachs
Educated at Cape Town and Cambridge University, Richard Gnodde joined Goldman Sachs in London in 1987, and spent the next 10 years in the firm’s M&A business before moving to co-head IBD in Japan in 1997. He became co-head of IBD, Asia in 1999, moved to Hong Kong as President of GS Asia, before returning to London in January 2005 as Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs Europe. He was named co Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International in July 2006. He became a Member of the firm’s Management Committee in 2003.
