The negotiation of an Economic Partnership Agreement between EU and Japan (EU-Japan EPA) has reached a final agreement in December 2017. This free trade alliance is one of the largest economic agreements that either the EU or Japan has ever concluded. In view of an early entry into force of the Agreement, JETRO, the Japan External Trade Organization will organize a roundtable to promote the mutual benefits the Agreement will bring to both European and Japanese industries. The first session will focus on the impact and the significance of the EPA with keynote speeches from trade regulators and government officials. In the second session, we will discuss about how the EPA will open more opportunities for businesses in the EU and Japan, and the possibilities for further cooperation.
